Animal Shelter Support

Poverty and hardship do not affect people alone. Animals also suffer silently from neglect, illness, and the loss of their homes. For this reason, the Thoma Foundation occasionally supports the local animal shelter in Sighișoara whenever our financial resources allow. Our assistance primarily consists of targeted financial contributions - for example, toward food, necessary medical treatment, or measures that help animals find permanent homes. Although the main focus of our work is supporting people in need, these occasional contributions to the animal shelter are a natural expression of our fundamental belief in respecting the dignity of all life wherever our limited resources can help protect it.
