Food Supply

Sadly, hunger is a daily reality for many people in Sighișoara, and a hot lunch cannot be taken for granted. This is why we regularly take action to combat hunger among people in need and provide them with swift relief.

We aim to provide direct, unbureaucratic assistance through food parcels containing staples such as oil, flour, sugar, and pasta, as well as a bar of chocolate, a sack of potatoes, and a packet of laundry detergent. Depending on the size of each family and the number of children who need to be provided for, our local volunteers diligently prepare the required number of food parcels. We also provide selected families with bread subscriptions, enabling them to collect a free loaf of bread from a local bakery every week.
