Aid Goods Transport

Our annual collection of donated goods for adults, children, and babies usually takes place from April to July in Holzkirchen and the Tegernsee Valley. Our volunteers organize a truck - generally a 40-tonne vehicle- which then transports all donated goods to Romania once a year. The donations are distributed locally by the Lions Club Sighișoara and Anika Zegheru.

Over the years, packing donations in banana boxes has proven to be the best approach. This allows us to load the truck as efficiently as possible. Their manageable size and weight also make the work easier for our loyal, long-standing team of volunteers, some of whom are already around 80 years old.
